The Bulbasaur pokemon is one of the original species of Pokémon creatures from the Pokémon video games, japanese anime, manga series , books and trading cards. As all Pokémon creatures, Bulbasaur’s fight other Pokémon in battles central to the games of the series. Bulbasaur’s are numbered one in the 493 fictional species of creatures, and are apart of the first generation of Pokémon.
The Bulbasaur character first appeared in 1996 when it was released in the first Pokémon video games, as one of original three starter Pokémon that players could choose from at the beginning of the game.
In the Pokémon game, Bulbasaur can often be seen sleeping in bright sunlight. By soaking up the warm sun’s rays, the seed on their backs would grow progressively larger. As they undergo their Pokémon evolution, the seed would startsto flower.
